The History of the E & K Group of Companies

In 1979 Ken and Christy Humanic, along with Christy's father, Ed Codori, started a small contractors supply company in Library, Pennsylvania which they named E & K Equipment, Inc. (after Ed and Ken). Ed retired in the mid-1980s.  The business continued to grow and underwent quite a few changes, branching out into construction and marine equipment.

In the early 1990s E & K Equipment, Inc. began to outgrow the Library, PA facility so the search began for a new location. Ken & Christy found just what they were looking for nestled in the northwest corner of Pennsylvania, near Titusville.  In 1996 the move to the 400 acre property began.  Now E & K Equipment, Inc. has the manufacturing, storage and office facilities necessary to serve our Customers efficiently.       

Today E & K Equipment, Inc. is a leading supplier of hoisting and winching equipment, clamshell and dragline buckets, grapples, grabs and tongs.  As well as the usual marine and construction equipment, we can often supply our Customers with unusual, hard-to-find items.  E & K Equipment, Inc. also stocks a very large assortment of blocks, sheaves, single hooks, shackles, swivels, anchors, fairleads, deck sheaves, capstans, tagwinders, anchor chain, and so much more.
