These units can be rated anywhere within the following parameters: 4,500 lbs. @ 250 fpm on a full drum to 13,500 lbs. @ 35 fpm on the first layer.  Static holding power is 45,900 pounds.  Drum diameter is 12 & 1/2 inches, drum length is 24 inches and flange diameter is 28 inches.  The drums will spool up to 3,950 feet of 1/2 inch wire rope, 2,500 feet of 5/8 inch rope and 1,750 feet of 3/4 inch wire rope.  These units are available with manual or air controls and the power system for these units can be diesel, gas, electric with hydraulic or air and may be equipped with a torque converter, transmission or a clutch.

These units can be rated from 5,000 lbs. @ 350 fpm on a full drum to 18,000 lbs. @ 50 fpm on the first layer.  Static holding power is 59,000 pounds.  Drum diameter is 15 inches, drum length is 27 inches and flange diameters are 22 or 34 inches.  The drums will spool up to 2,900 feet of 3/4 inch wire rope, 2,150 feet of 7/8 inch rope and 1,600 feet of 1 inch wire rope.  The 2-drum units with third drum attachments have wide brake bands.  The two single-drum units have wide brake bands and the 2-drum unit has narrow brake bands.  These units are available with manual or air controls and the power system for these units can be diesel, gas, electric with hydraulic or air and may be equipped with a torque converter, transmission or a clutch.

These units are rated at 7,500 lbs. @ 350 fpm on a full drum to 25,000 lbs. @ 50 fpm on the first layer.  Static holding power is 66,000 pounds.  Drum diameters are 26 or 17 & 1/2 inches, drum length is 30 inches and flange diameter is 40 inches.  The drums will spool up to 4,500 feet of 3/4 inch wire rope, 3,300 feet of 7/8 inch rope and 2,500 feet of 1 inch wire rope.  The two single-drum units have 26" drums, the two 2-drum units have oversize drums.  These units are available with manual or air controls and the power system for these units can be diesel, gas, electric with hydraulic or air and may be equipped with a torque converter, transmission or a clutch.

This unit can be rated from 12,500 lbs. @ 400 fpm to 35,000 lbs. @ 50 fpm with a static holding power of 88,000 pounds.  Drum diameter is 20", drum length: 42", flange diameter: 48".  The spooling capacity is 2,125 feet of 1 & 1/2" cable, 3,030 feet of 1 & 1/4" cable, 3,800 feet of 1 & 1/8", 4,775 feet of 1" or 6,150' of 7/8" wire rope.  This unit is offered as a 2, 3 or 4 drum machine.  Powered by a Detroit 8-71 diesel with an 11,000 series Twin Disc torque converter, the Clyde Frame 8-E is a workhorse.  The unit has manual controls on all functions and is equipped for tower or spud and anchor work.  This is a rental-only machine.

Two Drum Units
These narrow drum units are the perfect spud - anchor winches.  The units can develop a line pull of up to 50,000 lbs. on the first layer  The drums are 22" wide, 20" diameter with 48" flanges, which allows for extreme line pull at low speed.  The units are equipped with guide sheaves for low wire discharge as well as front and rear discharge.  Units are capable of spooling up to 3,225 feet of 7/8", 2,500 feet of 1", 2,000 feet of 1 & 1/8" and 1,590 feet of 1 & 1/4" wire rope.  The units are powered by Detroit 4-71 engines with 10,000 series Twin Disc torque converters, complete air controlled operation with remote operation capability.

Three or Four Drum Unit
This unit is rated at 42,000 lbs. @ 200 fpm to 21,000 lbs. @ 400 fpm.  Drum diameter is 30", drum length: 40", flange diameter: 69".  The spooling capacity is 9,225 feet of 1" cable.  For extremely rugged hoisting duty, this is the hoist you need.  We have just received this machine.  This is a rental-only unit. 

American 50-B Hoist
This machine offers a capacity of 5,000 pounds of line pull on the second layer of cable.  Spooling capacity of each drum is 2,141 feet of 3/8", 1,475 feet of 7/16" or 1,218 feet of 1/2" per drum.

American 55 Hoist
This machine offers a capacity of 5,500 pounds of line pull.  It is powered by a new Ford 300 gasoline engine with a PTO clutch.

American 70-B Hoist
These machines offer a capacity of 7,000 pounds of line pull on the second layer of cable.  Spooling capacity of each drum up to 1,635 feet of 1/2", 1,200 feet of 5/8" or 980 feet of 9/16" per drum.  One machine is currently powered by an Eimco air motor.  The units can be powered by air, gas or diesel.  They have manual frictions and brakes and have air controlled forward and reverse.

American 75 Hoist
This machine offers a capacity of 7,500 pounds of line pull on the second layer of cable with a line speed of up to 400 feet per minute.  Drum diameter is 14", length is 24" and flange diameter is 24 inches.  Spooling capacity of each drum is 1,717 feet of 5/8" or 1,142 feet of 3/4" wire rope per drum.

American 90-B Hoist
These machines offer a capacity of 9,000 pounds of line pull on the second layer of cable.  Spooling capacity of each drum is 2,312 feet of 9/16", 1,743 feet of 5/8" or 1,206 feet of 3/4" wire rope per drum.  One unit is currently powered by a Detroit 3-53 engine with an Allison torque converter.  These units are available with manual or air controls and the power system for these units can be diesel, gas, electric with hydraulic or air and may be equipped with a torque converter, transmission or a clutch.

This machine offers a capacity of 10,000 pounds of line pull on the second layer of cable.  Drum diameter is 16", length is 26" and flange diameter is 28 inches.  Spooling capacity of each drum is 1,590 feet of 3/4", 1,244 feet of 7/8"  wire rope per drum.

These machines offer a capacity of 12,000 pounds of line pull on the second layer of cable.  Spooling capacity of each drum is 2,620 feet of 5/8", 1,884 feet of 3/4"  wire rope per drum.

American 180 Hoist
These powerful machines are rated at 18,000 lbs of single line pull.  The drum diameter is 18", drum length: 33", flange diameter: 32".  The hoists will store 1,800 feet of 1" cable and have a working capacity of 1,300 feet of 1" cable.  This hoists are powered by Detroit 4-71 diesels and are ready to go to work for you.  These machine are rental-only units.

Braden
Model MS30 60,000 pound capacity worm gear winch with an oil cooled, fully adjustable, automatic safety brake and heat treated clutch plate bolted to cable drum.  The sliding clutch is alloy steel forging, heat treated with negative draft jaws for positive engagement.  Splined to eliminate key overturn.  The thrust ring inside the gear housing helps support cable drum thrust in either direction; designed to eliminate damage when winching at an angle.  Tapered roller bearings provide extra capacity in carrying worm thrust and radial loads.  Can be mechanically or hydraulically powered.  Rated line pull for this unit for 7/8", 1" or 1 & 1/8" wire rope is 60,000 pounds on the first layer at 13 feet per minute and will pull 10,000 pounds at 72 feet per minute.  The unit will spool 47 feet of 7/8" cable, 42 feet of 1" cable or 38 feet of 1 & 1/8" cable on the first layer and will spool 245 feet of 7/8" cable, 225 feet of 1" cable or 210 feet of 1 & 1/8" cable on the 4th layer.  This unit is new surplus with an electric motor.

Model W-1500 with a 50,000 pounds line pull rating at 20 feet per minute.  Winch has a 130,000 brake capacity and will spool 3,000 feet of 1 & 1/4" wire rope.  Drum diameter is 30.47" X 61.25" long with a flange depth of 9.75 inches.  Winch is powered by a 440 volt, 60 cycle, 3-phase AC power unit.  The weight of the winch is 15,000 pounds.  The winch is powered by a LeTourneau squirrel cage induction type AC motor driven through an oil-bath gear train.  The brakes are electro-magnetically controlled, spring-loaded, multiple disc on a drive motor and multiple-disc, manually controlled on the cable drum.  The controls are two "deadman" buttons for operation in either direction and a manually operated lever for free spooling of the drum.

This unit is electric-hydraulic powered.  It has a single line pull of 6,500 feet per minute on the first layer, 5,300 feet per minute on the forth layer and 3,500 feet per minute on the ninth layer.  The simultaneous line pull is 1/2 of the single line pull.  Line speed on a bare drum on 0 to 87 feet per minute, on the second layer the line speed is 0 to 110 feet per minute and the average drum line speed is 0 to 130 feet per minute.  The diameter of the drum is 6" X 19 & 1/2" long with a 4 & 3/4 flange depth.  Weight of the hoist is 3,800 pounds without wire rope.  Overall length of the hoist is 72" X 46" wide and it is 60" high.

This model HR-5 has a rated capacity of 15,000 pounds of line pull @ 50 fpm.  The hoist has a 16" diameter drum X 30" length with a 37" flange.  This hoist has a 5" brake face and a mechanical 24" diameter clutch with a 3" face.  The hoist will spool 3,530 feet of 5/8" wire rope, 2,450 feet of 3/4" wire rope or 1,920 feet of 7/8" wire rope.  This machine can be set up for anchor or spud service.
